finner.world (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates our learning website and related mobile applications. Related games on our platform (for example Punjab Pizza) may connect to the same finner.world account ecosystem. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Scope
This policy applies when you use finner.world services, including:
- Our website at finner.world
- finner.world mobile apps distributed through app stores
- Learning paths, videos, quizzes, and practical activities
- Optional family profiles and live classes on the website
- Related finner.world games that connect to your finner.world account
If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our services. Where local law requires parental consent before a child uses our services, a parent or legal guardian must provide that consent.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in three broad ways: information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from sign-in providers.
Information you provide
- Account and profile: display name and contact details tied to the signed-in account. On mobile, the signed-in account is typically a parent or guardian Google accountwhen a child under 13 is learning, or a learner's own Google account when the learner is 13 or older. On the website, accounts may be used by a parent or learner, and may include a mobile number or a parent/guardian email and phone when a learner signs up there.
- App setup preferences (mobile): during onboarding in our mobile apps, you may choose:
- Language preference — the language chosen for lessons and narration (for example English, Hindi, or Telugu).
- Age— the explorer's age in years (and an age band derived from it) used to personalize content, voice, and learning paths, and to decide whether a parent gate is required.
- Country — country of residence used for currency, examples, and regional content.
- Gender (optional) — if provided during setup, used for personalization only.
- Child / learner profiles:under a parent or guardian account, the app or website may store learner profile details such as a nickname or display name, age or age band, and related settings. Children under 13 do not create an independent Google-signed-in account in the mobile app; their learning is associated with the parent's signed-in account and learner profile.
- Family profiles (website): where that feature is available, names or nicknames, child email addresses, optional phone numbers, age band or birth year, and related profile settings created by a parent or guardian.
- Learning and gameplay: lesson progress, quiz responses, practical activity results, game session progress, and similar learning-related activity. On mobile, progress may be kept on the device and/or synced to the signed-in parent or learner account (including under a child profile). On the website, progress is typically tied to your account or a family learner profile.
- Live classes and demos: information you submit to book a demo, join a class, or contact support.
- Payments: subscription or purchase details. On the website, card payments are processed by our payment provider (currently Razorpay); we do not store full card numbers on our servers. If you buy a subscription through an app store (for example Google Play), that purchase is processed by the store under its own terms; we receive entitlement or receipt information needed to unlock access.
Information from Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we receive information from Google such as your name, email address, and profile picture, according to your Google account settings and the permissions you approve. For explorers under 13 in the mobile app, a parent or legal guardian signs in with their own Google credentials. That parent account is used to authorize the child's use of the app and to hold learner profiles and synced progress. We do not ask children under 13 to sign in with their own Google account in the mobile app.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: when you use our website or signed-in app features, our servers may receive technical data such as browser or app type, operating system hints, pages or APIs requested, and timestamps. On mobile, some product analytics events may also be stored locally on your device for debugging or future product improvement and are not automatically uploaded as a marketing profile.
- Session and security data: login session identifiers, IP address, and similar technical data needed to keep your account secure and operate the service.
- Cookies and similar technologies: on the website, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if cookies are disabled.
Advertising ID
finner.world does not use the Android advertising ID (AAID) or similar advertising identifiers to show targeted advertising in our apps. We do not sell personal information.
3. Children, teens, and families
finner.world's mobile app (including the Google Play version) is designed for families, including children under 13, teens, and parents or guardians who help them learn. Content and features may adapt by age band based on the age selected during setup.
Parent gate and parental consent (mobile)
During onboarding, the app asks for the explorer's age. If the age is under 13, the app shows a parent gate: a parent or legal guardian must sign in with their own Google account before learning continues. By completing that parent Google Sign-In, the parent or guardian authorizes the child's use of the app under the parent's account and consents to our collection and use of information described in this policy for that child's learning experience.
- Children under 13 do not create or use an independent Google Sign-In in the mobile app. Navigation, account identity, and synced progress use the parent's credentials and account.
- After parent sign-in, the household may create or select a child / learner profile (for example a nickname and age-related settings) linked to that parent account.
- Learners aged 13 and over may sign in with their own Google account where the app offers that flow. Parents may still help set up the device.
What we collect for child learners
For children under 13, we aim to collect only what is reasonably needed to provide educational services under parental supervision, including:
- Parent or guardian account information from Google Sign-In (such as name, email, and profile picture)
- Child / learner profile details the parent provides (such as nickname and age or age band)
- Setup preferences (language, country, optional gender) and learning progress associated with that profile
- Technical data needed to operate and secure the service (for example session identifiers and IP address on signed-in requests)
We do notuse children's data for behavioral advertising, do not sell personal information, and do not use the Android advertising ID (AAID) to show targeted ads in our apps.
Website family features
Our website also supports family learning: parents or guardians can create accounts, add learner profiles, and (where required) provide parent or guardian contact details for a learner account. On the website, when a learner account is created, we may ask for a parent or guardian email and phone number so we can reach a responsible adult about the account.
- Parents and guardians can view and manage family or child profiles, learning progress, and related settings where those features are available.
- Parents may request access, correction, or deletion of a child's information as described in Section 7, including through our account and data deletion pages.
If you believe we have collected information from a child without appropriate parental consent, contact us at Raj@finner.world and we will take appropriate steps to review and, where appropriate, delete the information.

6. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. Local data on your device can usually be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for data sent between your device and our services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To exercise these rights, email Raj@finner.world. We may need to verify your identity or a parent/guardian's authority before responding (including when the request concerns a child profile under a parent account). We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Account deletion: You may request deletion of your finner.world account and associated personal information using our account deletion page or by emailing Raj@finner.world. To delete specific data without closing your account, see our data deletion page. We will delete or anonymize personal information unless we must retain certain records for legal, security, or billing purposes.
